KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Functional Practice Operations to join our Tax organization.
Responsibilities:
Provide support with day-to-day operational activities; assist with the roll-out of various initiatives tools to the practice as well as announcements and communications to be shared with the BU
Assist with meeting planning including developing agendas and presentations, and collaborating with primary business functions such as finance, operations, human resources, resource management
Serve as training coordinator for the BU for example, monitoring training plans/approvals/attendance/expenses/CPE non-compliance, local office new hire orientation and local office training coordination, inclusive of logistics
Execute coordinated tactical action plans of the BU like participating in practice-wide strategic initiatives or projects; provide local office support, which could include local people council liaison and coordination, development and execution of events and recognition, DEI Initiatives, and Credential advisor
Support local recruiting efforts, including campus and experienced hire coordination
Help analyze data from various sources across the BU including HR, F&A, Resource Management, and other departments to identify trends
Qualifications:
Minimum three years of recent experience in one or more business related areas including finance, accounting, human resources, resource management, marketing or general business operations
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in business administration, finance, human resources, or related field
Ability to work independently and provide guidance to executive level management across all practice operational areas
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; basic knowledge or experience with Alteryx, Power BI, a plus
Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills required
