As a Senior Associate Network Security Operations Engineer, you’ll design, develop, implement, and maintain network security solutions and capabilities that reduce risk to our business, brand, and customers. On our best-in-class engineering team, you’ll help us build innovative strategies and capabilities that increase our security posture and enable faster delivery. You’ll thrive in a hybrid, multi-cloud environment, leverage new technology, and drive the adoption of automation capabilities— all on a team that sets the example for supporting each other, working hard together, and celebrating often. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.
Shift: Monday - Friday, 10:00pm - 7:00am EST
Responsibilities
Develops engineering specifications to ensure risk, compliance, and assurance efforts to conform with security, resilience, and dependability requirements at the software application, system, and network environment level
Assists cybersecurity architects in the design and development of security solutions consistent with business goals and risk tolerance
Validates current and future state architectural models to assess impact across assigned Cybersecurity technology systems
Ensures compliance to audit, regulatory and legal requirements. Designs and implements solutions to align with the Cybersecurity Strategy
Builds and maintains effective relationships with peers and internal business partners. Manages relationships with security partners and vendors. Maintains in-depth knowledge of security trends, threats and attack techniques
Drives research innovation and continuous coverage of malicious activity in custom intelligence research tools. Maintains in-depth knowledge of security trends, threats and attack techniques
Correlates incident data to identify specific vulnerabilities and makes recommendations that enable expeditious remediation
Minimum Qualifications
At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:
Bachelors – Computer Science or related
1+ Years – Information Security, Application Security, Security Engineering or related
Internal applicants only: technical proficiency rating of advanced beginner on the Dreyfus engineering scale
Preferred Qualifications
Bonus Points If You Have:
Demonstrated experience with troubleshooting network issues related to Palo Alto, Broadcom web proxy, Netskope SWG, & Bricata IDS.
Demonstrated experience with information security concepts and applying security measures in a production environment.
Demonstrated experience with troubleshooting network issues related to Cisco routers/switches, ASA/Firepower, VPN, and out-band connectivity.
Demonstrated experience with incident, change, and problem management processes.
Advance knowledge with network monitoring systems & tools such as SolarWinds, Riverbed, NetScout, Wireshark, Splunk, and others
Intermediate knowledge of ITIL framework ServiceNow and process management.
Intermediate knowledge with network automation skills such as Ansible, Git, & scripting tools
Intermediate knowledge with network services products – F5 load balancing, bluecoat DNS/DHCP/IPAM

Compensation:
The base pay for this position generally ranges between $71,500.00 to $121,100.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
