Senior Associate, Client ExperienceThe Detroit office of Weber Shandwick is looking for an account leader to join our automotive practice to drive key client business. In this role, you will be responsible for thinking across channel and discipline to manage integrated engagements that are strategically rooted in our clients' business and brought to life through creative earned, owned and paid activations. You'll engage with clients and colleagues around the world, help develop junior team members, execute paid media strategies, and establish trusting relationships with clients.ResponsibilitiesCLIENT AND WORKLiaises with clients and assists in client communications, including developing and coordinating routine account management materials, including timelines, activity reports, client documentation and project management support, as appropriate for size of account or officePartners with diverse, cross-functional teams, which includes Creative and Analytics, to ensure strong execution of programs in support of the client business objectivesOversee paid media strategies, creative, buy fulfillment and optimizationsSupports creative ideation on a consistent basis and provides thoughtful recommendationsSupports influencer identification, coordination and management, including conducting research, coordinating activation logistics in partnership with our influencer experts and reviewing contentMonitors, analyzes and helps develops integrated campaign reports, to identify opportunities for growth and strategic evolutionProactively identifies issues and recommends solutions based on category or competitive activityKeeps pace with social media / digital industry trends and developmentsUnderstand functionality and capabilities of social media platforms, to include Meta, Google/ YouTube, TikTok, PinterestPost content across social media platformsSELF LEADERSHIP AND TEAM EFFECTIVENESSContributes to work plan of junior team members and helps guide their workServes as role model to team members, producing high quality work and continually updating manager on activity progressProactively contributes to inclusive team culture and consistently displays behaviors that support integrationBUSINESS ACUMENGrows understanding of financial aspects of accounts by supporting budget tracking, and maintaining fee and out-of-pocket trackersSupports a healthy account and business through accurate time entryMaintains a thorough understanding of clients' business and industryGROWTH AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENTLeverages understanding of client's business to share ideas to help grow the account organicallyParticipates in meetings to support new business development/organic business growth opportunities as directed, including capturing notes, recaps, research, updating trackers and timelines (proactive/reactive pitches)QualificationsBA or BS in Journalism, Business, Communications, Advertising or related degreeA passion for social media with and strong experience across top-tier business and technology outletsStrong verbal and written communications, team management and client management skillsWeber Shandwick is proud to The Weber Shandwick Collective recognizes that your health and wellbeing are a priority.
