Job Description
Checkout.com is seeking a motivated Senior Associate to join our Treasury team. The successful candidate will be working on the buildout and deepening of capital management capabilities globally.
In response to the continued scaling and expansion of Checkout.com in terms of volume, product diversity, regulated activities and legal entity footprint, you will be identifying and quantifying risks associated to capital management, contributing to the design and implementation of a capital management framework, with a focus on developing capital planning, stress-testing, capital indicators, capital risk appetite and capital reporting processes.
What you will be doing:
Contribute to the overall design, build and embedding of Checkout.com’s capital management framework Develop Checkout.com’s business and financial planning processes, focussing on treasury capability to build capital plans and stress-tests, undertaking forecasting of capital supply and demand whilst providing analysis and recommendations to meet specific legal entity and regulatory requirementsDesign and develop meaningful capital related management information and monitoring processes related to capital positions and forecasts across Checkout.com’s legal entitiesContribute to Checkout.com in embedding the capital management framework, including build-out of economic capital analysis, key risk indicators and capital risk appetitesSupport on governing and planning capital actions such as individual legal entity equity injections and capital restructuring Responsible for documentation of policies and procedures associated with the above alongside other treasury related documentsInvolvement in wider Checkout.com’s strategic global expansion and regulatory initiatives within the treasury space Qualifications About you:
5+ years of treasury and/or finance related experienceGood understanding of underlying treasury and financial concepts such as legal entity balance sheet management, risk appetite, economic capital and execution of capital actionsQuantitative and analytical skills, including financial forecasting / modelling skillsExperience of working through change and implementing new cross-functional processesStrong communication and influencing skills with an ability to build and leverage cross-functional relationshipsAttention to detail and proactivity crucialForward-thinking, adaptable and thrives in a fast paced environmentAccounting qualification desirableBasic knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as banking or EMI/PI regulationsYou are proactive and can work independently Additional Information Apply without meeting all requirements statement
