Who Are You?
As a Senior Associate Brand Manager, New Opportunities, you will be a key player in driving marketing innovation as a capability at King's Hawaiian, both in the US and internationally. You will team up with other innovation experts (chefs, food scientists, insights, manufacturing, etc.) to help bring irresistible product ideas to life, from initial design to national-scale launch, including marketing activities. You will also be involved with the international expansion of the brand, from new market identification to consumer analysis and launch. Reporting to the Sr. Brand Manager, New Opportunities, this position is for self-starters who are eager to run a high growth line of our business, contributing to our tremendous brand growth.
Key responsibilities:
Support the Sr. Brand Manager on various innovation and expansion projects.Apply a variety of data sources (ex: IRI, Mintel, trend reports, proprietary brand research) to analyze category landscapes to study new product opportunities and inform new product development and positioning.Provide support and communications during the early-stage (pre-discovery) new product development cycle.Support new product naming and packaging design, own packaging execution with packaging engineers and design team.Lead marketing activities for in-store testing in conjunction with the Insights team and Sales teams to evaluate new products at retail and explore if they have commercial viability.Aid in the development of sales sell-in materials in partnership with the sales team to demonstrate our product positioning, features, and benefits to meet the needs of the customers and consumers.Participate in the strategy and drive the execution of key marketing communications campaigns and evaluate their performance.Ensure King's Hawaiian shows up with a consistent brand-led look, feel, and tone of voice across consumer-facing touchpoints, nationally and internationally.Explore and recommend ways to expand new product opportunities across channels and geography.Travel up to 15% of the time, including internationally.
Skills/Experience:
Minimum of 2-3 years of CPG/Food and Beverage experience, product innovation experience, and Master's in Business Administration (MBA) preferred.Ability to read and interpret data from syndicated sources such as IRI, SPINS, or Nielsen, and proprietary sources like consumer research.Creativity with the ability to imagine unique and winning new product positioning, packaging, and launch strategies.Budget and product P&L understanding.Strong communication skills and comfort owning a meeting or presenting to a larger group.Adept at thriving in a constantly evolving work environment.
We are in the office Monday - Wednesday and remote on Thursday and Friday.

The salary range is from $125,000 to $135,000 plus bonus and is based on an individual's potential contribution.
