Job Description:
The Aircraft Maintenance Process Compliance Sr. Associate is responsible for managing and controlling 8210 compliance related to FOD and tool control, safety, training, quality objectives and audit prep. Candidate must demonstrate strong leadership and managerial skills to lead several tasks simultaneously to assist in compliance. Candidate must possess significant level of expertise pertaining to 8210 and general operating procedures.
Essential Functions:
Assist in the development of, performance metrics in key areas such as FOD/tool control, safety, training and quality.
Analyze such metrics and be able to identify trends and provide corrective action when applicable
Facilitate self-directed work teams, provide training in "core skills" areas to team members and peers, and interact with internal and external customers with respect to planning, problem resolution, and process improvement
Support production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment
Perform activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including total quality management, manufacturing systems, material management, and process re-engineering
Must be flexible to work off shifts and overtime
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree with a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
Working knowledge of company procedures.
Previous experience in navigating company procedures.
6+ months experience with Microsoft Office Suite, with heavy emphasis on Excel and Power Point.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance, which requires US citizenship.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Active Security Clearance.
8D Root Cause and Corrective action techniques.
Must possess a strong aptitude for problem solving.
Excellent oral and written skills
Must be a self-starter and motivated.
Must be technically proficient.
Must possess good interpersonal skills and have the ability to coordinate with other functional groups and support organizations.
