Position Overview
We are currently seeking a highly driven individual to join our Intelligence Advisory Services team. The Intelligence Advisory Services team seeks to deliver a personalized and integrated consulting experience for our clients , producing high-quality and trustworthy results, maintaining an open-minded and creative mindset for solving unique industry challenges, and seeking to build deep partnerships with internal and external stakeholders across the industry.
As a key member of the team, you will leverage Enverus Product capabilities and your expertise to deliver tailored, objective and actionable solutions and insights for clients through a consulting engagement model . You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of financial analysts, engineers, economists, geologists, data scientists, developers, and others to solve clients’ most critical business problems .
You will leverage the data and analytics in the leading global energy SaaS platform and use it to interact directly with clients and help answer some of the hardest questions facing industry and investors today. The ideal candidate has a technical energy industry background, can conduct independent high-quality technical analysis across a wide range of project types, can engage with a variety of client personas effectively, and is a collaborative team player.
Examples of the technical projects you could undertake include upstream conventional and unconventional asset development and economic analysis, regional commodity supply-demand outlooks, b asin studies and benchmarking analysis , p ublic or private A&D/M&A deal process engagement , multivariate asset optimization workflows, CCUS source-to-sink assessments, and a variety of other potential consulting needs.
Responsibilities associated with this role include:
building and negotiating initial technical scopes of work with clients
spearheading the analysis of large data sets to identify trends, characterize opportunities, value assets, and generate opinions on market activity using established industry workflows or using internal workflows built in Enverus Prism™
contributing to and driving the problem-solving process , developing actionable technical analysis that helps our clients make better capital allocation decisions
developing specialized economic or reserves and resource models critical for formulating opinions on upstream oil and gas assets
compiling and clearly communicating advisory mandate results in a variety of media (presentation, in-person, Webex), preparing presentation material and modeling backup
participating in conference calls and in-person meetings with clients and prospects, leveraging or demonstrating Enverus Intelligence™ and Enverus Prism ™ solutions
learning from and mentoring advisory team colleagues and supporting technical requirements and initiatives for the broader Intelligence team
partnering with Intelligence Research, Product, Sales, and Customer Success teammates to build and maintain strong relationships with and in support of clients
contributing feedback for internal product development efforts
supporting advisory business development, sales, and marketing initiatives, including the launch of new advisory capabilities and business ideas
ROLE COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS
Apply broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through work experience and advanced education to solve industry problems
Proven problem-solving skills and a d emonstrated ability to synthesize actionable analysis from large, dynamic data sets
Understands and can demonstrate fundamental market, technical and economic analysis capabilities for the energy industry , especially for upstream oil and gas asset development and operations
Advanced data management, analytics, and reporting skills; including aptitude with Excel, Access/SQL databases, Spotfire/Power BI platforms, and/or other data management and analytical tools
Ambition to work collaboratively on an interdisciplinary team of subject matter experts with a steep learning curve and commitment to career development
Self-motivated with a strong desire to develop a deep understanding of the technologies and companies driving the energy industry and to become a leading expert in this field
Must possess excellent organizational and time management skills , with the ability to work under limited supervision to manage project timelines and expectations
Must possess excellent communication and presentation skills , with an ability to analyze and concisely articulate complex ideas through writing and verbal presentations
Has a can-do attitude along with a deep sense of curiosity
Exhibit a strong commitment to personal and team performance and developmen t
Ability to work remotely or in-office, and travel to client locations as needed
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
3-5 + years of relevant industry experience
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering/Finance/Accounting/Economics, or related field
Understand s the fundamentals of the E&P industry and can conduct deep technical workflows associated with the resource and economic analysis of upstream oil and gas assets
