We are founding a dedicated Generative AI team and are looking for candidates with expertise in stakeholder and product management. The team will be tasked to support moving projects from research into production for various organizations of the business. The team is comprised of a cross functional group that together with its platform peers ensures a sound move from our research activities to scalable solutions.
The ideal Generative AI Asset Owner will have experience managing relationships with customers of diverse business functions over a varied portfolio of sophisticated science and computer technology solutions, can communicate the value of the team, and help plan the team’s roadmap to support competing priorities.

Responsibilities:
Build relationships with business and technology stakeholders to ensure data science solutions are addressing business problems as intended
Collaborate with business partners and the team to identify opportunities in existing processes to identify risks, enhance processes, increase operational efficiency, etc
Provide tactical support to the team by driving project execution, roadmaps, and communicate regular updates to business partners
Help communicate sophisticated science and engineering outcomes in understandable ways to our partners for project success
Assist in development of vision and strategic planning, success criteria, CBA and value propositions
Qualifications:
General understanding of statistics, analytic project lifecycle, and data science concepts
Experience supporting development of AI, machine learning, or technical products
Experience translating complex technical topics into business solutions and strategies
Expertise communicating and building relationships across a broad range of technical and non-technical audiences
Expertise leveraging Microsoft Office tools to develop compelling visuals articulating complex analytical topics
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Agile and Scrum
Insurance business domain knowledge
Experience with leading project execution and driving change to core business processes through the innovative use of quantitative techniques
Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
$107,360 - $161,040
