We are looking for a Senior Analyst/ Manager to join our Trade Accounting and Operations (TAO) team, which is responsible for various post-trade activities. The core objective of TAO team is to ensure that all the post-trade activities are completed in a timely manner and recorded appropriately to have an accurate view of positions, cash, and P&L. You will work closely with client teams, counterparties, and other internal groups/ teams at Arcesium across geographies.
What You'll Do:
Work closely with various teams internally and externally on day-to-day operations for private deals, including but not limited to non-performing loans, direct lending, and litigation finance. Responsible for booking private deals and ensuring the books and records are maintained in accordance with the client's needs. Interact with the client teams for new fund launches, waterfall calculations, and supporting ongoing activity in existing funds. Work on preparing performance track record information for private credit funds. Investigate and explain P&L movements to client teams or other internal teams, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to identify P&L outages. Liaison with internal groups like Pricing, Middle Office, and Treasury to resolve discrepancies and/or respond to internal queries Provide adequate support for outstanding breaks for the finalization of month-end reconciliations. Ensure all accounting activities are captured correctly and book appropriate adjustments towards trial balance preparation for trading entities. Work closely with the client teams with regard to the monthly closure of books of accounts. Liaise with external auditors and third-party administrators on a periodic basis to meet individual fund and trading entities' obligations. Build scale and efficiency in existing processes through new idea generation and/or automation. Collaborate with technology teams on special projects, bespoke reporting requirements, and UAT. What You'll Need:
An MBA (finance)/CFA /CA or an equivalent qualification 3-6 years of experience in fund accounting and operations, preferably in the private credits space Sound understanding of accounting principles and exposure to asset classes in the fixed income space (loans, bonds, repos, derivative instruments such as CDS, TBAs, and interest rate swaps). Excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in MS excel. A self-motivated individual with a drive to work with minimal supervision and ability to work well in teams. An eye for detail and champion process efficiencies Ability to communicate effectively and adapt communication style to suit to different audiences. Knowledge and working experience of Macros, Python is an added advantage. Timings:
