  At CarMax, providing our associates with learning and development experiences is a top priority. The Senior Analyst, Talent Management is responsible for delivering an exceptional learning and development experience by ensuring our supporting systems and data are easily accessible and accurate.

  What you will do - Essential responsibilities

  Responsible for all Talent Management technology support and system administration, including WorkDay Learning, Talent Cycle, Development Program functionality, 3rd party vendor integrations, and low-medium complexity configuration. Serves as a key resource for technical knowledge in Talent Management, staying current on all supporting technology.Proactively identifies any Talent Management technology or reporting issues and applies business and technical knowledge to determine solutions at the root cause. Evaluates complex issues and develops innovative solutions.Builds strong business partnerships and network; analyzes quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends and evaluates needs of the business regarding Talent Management technology, process or reporting. Interprets data to develop/recommend creative options to meet needs of Talent Management, business partners, and key stakeholders;Responsible for all requests or tickets regarding Talent Management technology or processes, identifying the root cause for issues, developing potential solutions, partnering with key stakeholders to make a compelling case for change, and driving the resolution.Responsible for all Talent Management technology upgrades and enhancements, including defining requirements, testing scenarios, and regression testing; Gains understanding of WorkDay release functionality and makes recommendations regarding approach to change management, or potential 'opt in ' functionality.Audit talent content (Learning, Assess My Team, Talent Review, etc) to ensure accurate and consistent standards are being utilized; work with functional Talent Management and Learning teams on findings and suggest improvements.Serve as a point of contact and subject matter expert to WorkDay Learning Functional Administrators and functional Talent Management business partners. This includes supporting training on existing and new functionality, policies, and/or guidelines, and presenting value- added recommendations to business partners on any changes or issues that occur.Serve as SME for all Talent Management metrics and reporting. Responsible for developing and maintaining regular metrics to support all Talent Management processes (Learning, Development, Talent Cycle, Upskilling, etc) as well as drive metrics for monthly business reviews, NPS, and third party performance. Aside from the metrics and reporting, this position must analyze and interpret data to provide insights and recommended improvements.Support Talent Management processes, projects, and metrics as needed.

  Qualifications

  3+ years relevant experience in technical system support, with preference of WorkDay, Talent Management or HR experience3+ years experience with metrics, reporting and analytics; exceptional problem-solving skills required; Experience creating queries & compiling data from SQL & Tableau experience preferred1-3 years project management experience preferredAbility to independently drive for results in challenging conditions with minimal support from managementAbility to build and maintain strong relationships throughout the organization, and collaborate with other departments and teamsAbility to determine customer specific needs, and independently put forth actions to meet those needsAbility to prioritize, plan and execute independently to achieve resultsAbility to identify potential process improvements and partner on implementation with key stakeholders (learning teams, business partners, HR, etc)Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with verbal and written correspondenceAbility to summarize or present complex and/or technical information into easy-to-understand piecesAdvanced Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) requiredAbility to work effectively in a team environment and creatively solve problemsDemonstrated track record of taking initiative, working independently and handling multiple priorities simultaneously

  Work Location and Arrangement : Work location is flexible if approved by the Company

  The Compensation Range for this position is: $70,200 to 105,300
