Completes work assignments and priorities in Legal support by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress and information; determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.Provides assistance to department with calendars and organizing meeting activities by helping supervisor or team with scheduling, maintaining, and updating calendar events; resolving scheduling conflicts; responding to requests for scheduling and meetings; assisting with planning and coordination of department or divisional activities and meetings; and managing, maintaining, and scheduling meeting roomsProvides assistance to real estate legal department with outside counsel invoices and resolving conflicts and invoicing errorsReviews legal files to send to outside counsel by collecting appropriate documents to send to outside counsel (for example, engagement letter, budget requests); following up on requests sent for review; and communicating with outside counsel about deadlines for project delivery Preparing, compiling, validating and assembling information and documentation for the Real Estate Legal Department to support real estate closing processes; partnering with stakeholders to identify, gather and review documentation required in closing processes and acquisitions; advising internal stakeholders (for example, legal project managers, attorneys, compliance auditors) on complexities of a project; utilizing real estate closing process expertise in collecting and reviewing suitable documents; preparing and completing documents and reports for real estate closing; reviewing and identifying incomplete or missing documents and resolve closing inconsistencies; ensuring documents comply with applicable laws and regulations; ensuring the timely submission of documentation; ensuring all necessary documentation (for example, ownership, right of possession documents) is complete, present, accurate and properly archived after closing; auditing and maintaining documentation to ensure quality and compliance; and maintaining confidentiality and security of data received and compiledEnters data and populates fields in various company and Legal software systems by saving documents, budgets, and correspondence into databases (for example, eClosing, REL, DM, Passport, Lucernex); and entering documentation into project tracking systems (for example, eClosing, REL and Legal Trackers)Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; and applying these in executing business processes and practices
