Primarily responsible for reconciliation, analysis, reporting and compliance filing. Analyzes operations in order to ensure that all transactions are properly calculated and recorded in the general ledger.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Financial Analysis – operates independently and leads in the preparation of various financial analyses to support the company’s decision-making process. 2. Budgeting – lead various components of the annual budgeting process. 3. Reporting – complete assigned financial reporting to help demonstrate operational performance. 4. Month End – operate independently to complete assigned portion of the month end close process, including variance analysis and identifying needs of necessary journal entries. 5. Communication – Work with other functions/departments to communicate results, gather information and provide general support. Have designated responsibility for supporting specific lines of business. 6. Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Skills: • Experience using Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel, Word, and Power Point. • Demonstrated problem solving and organizational skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, and effective interpersonal skills. • Ability to lead, plan, coordinate, and organize multiple priorities with minimal supervision. Years of Experience: 3-5 years in healthcare finance or accounting setting
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Education: Master’s Degree Skills: Understanding of generally accepted and statutory accounting principles; working knowledge of Strata budget and decision support software; working knowledge of healthcare labor benchmarking. Years of Experience: 5+ years in healthcare finance or accounting setting
WORKING CONDITIONS Physical Demands:. Office environment. Must have the ability to move between workstations. Ideal candidate will be well-versed in computer applications and operation.
