Operating as a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. What you get to do every day
Be a part of various department-wide initiatives
Coordinate quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Build analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Operate with business partners to create compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests
Bring a daily dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Put together Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Assemble monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Other projects as necessary
Administer monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP Requirements - Accomplished in analytical, quantitative and social skills
Candidates that are proficient in financial reporting may be most suitable for this opportunity
Skilled with ERP systems
Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines
Aptitude for analyzing financial data and generating accurate reports in a timely manner
Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills
Strong time management and organizational skills
Demonstrated skills in interacting effectively, both verbally and in writing, with functional managers
Familiarity with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
Proven knowledge of in-house payroll
Well-founded grasp of Quickbooks Premier
Journal entries experience preferred
Deep understanding of bank reconciliations
Month end closings experience
Accounts Payable (AP) experience required
Account reconciliation experience desired
SOX internal control assessments (Section 404) experience
Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
