  As a professional in your role, your responsibilities and essential job functions will include but are not limited to:

  Supervise the daily operations of the hotel security team to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, staff, and property.

  Implement and enforce security policies and procedures in accordance with hotel standards.

  Provide leadership and direction to security personnel, including training, scheduling, and performance management.

  Conduct regular briefings and debriefings to ensure effective communication within the security team.

  Oversee surveillance systems and security cameras to monitor the premises and identify potential security threats.

  Conduct regular patrols of the hotel property to maintain a visible security presence.

  Develop and implement emergency response procedures for various situations, including fire, medical emergencies, and security incidents.

  Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.

  Conduct thorough investigations into security incidents, breaches, or guest complaints.

  Document and report incidents, providing recommendations for preventive measures.

  Manage access control systems, ensuring only authorized personnel and guests have access to restricted areas.

  Monitor and control the issuance of keys and access cards.

  Conduct regular training sessions for security staff on security protocols, emergency response, and customer service.

  Stay updated on industry best practices and provide relevant training to the team.

  Collaborate with other hotel departments, such as front desk and facilities, to address security concerns and coordinate responses.

  Maintain effective communication with management regarding security-related issues.

  Assist guests with security-related concerns or requests, providing a reassuring and helpful presence.

  Act as a point of contact for guests during emergency situations.

  Ideally, you should possess some or all the following qualifications and experience:

  Security Supervisor License from SIRA Dubai.

  High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in security management or a related field is a plus.

  Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hotel security, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.

  Experience in emergency response and incident investigation is essential.

  Certification in security training, emergency response, and first aid/CPR.

  Knowledge of local laws and regulations related to hotel security.

  Strong leadership and team management skills.

  Ability to inspire and motivate a security team.

  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  Ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals, including guests, staff, and law enforcement.

  Familiarity with security systems, access control, and surveillance technology.

  Proficient in using computers and security-related software.

  Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make effective decisions under pressure.

  Proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential security risks.

  Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to interact professionally with guests.

  Understanding the balance between maintaining security and providing a welcoming environment.

  Good physical condition, as the role may involve patrolling and responding to emergencies.

  Ability to lift and carry moderate weights and stand for extended periods.

  High level of integrity and ethical conduct.

  Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
