  Job Summary:

  The Security Specialist works with clinical and support staff to maintain a safe environment of care as part of the 23- Hour 59-Minute Riverwalk Crisis Receiving Center (CRC). This center is a team comprised of multidisciplinary behavioral health care members. As a Security Specialist you are responsible for safety patrols, maintaining access control, monitoring behaviors, and ensuring a safe environment for care.

  Qualifications

  Must be 21 years of age or older

  Competent in de-escalation (CPI), first aid, CPR

  Excellent communication skills

  Ability to remain calm in all situations

  Ability to follow policies and procedures

  Basic computer skills

  Ability to pass a background check and driver’s license check upon offer of employment

  Valid and current driver’s license with good driving record
