Minimum qualifications:
Experience in a sales role in the enterprise software or cloud space.
Experience with customers and partners in the enterprise cybersecurity field.
Experience in product and solution market trends in the cybersecurity industry, including security operations (e.g., SIEM, SOAR, threat intelligence, ransomware, attack frameworks, zero trust, etc.).
Experience in meeting and exceeding sales goals.
Preferred qualifications: Experience starting a territory from scratch and understanding the security partner ecosystem.
Experience in industry verticals.
Knowledge of market trends in cybersecurity and Cloud.
Ability to prioritize, plan, and organize sales activity.
Ability to build strong and continuous relationships, promoting to C-level executives across security and IT business units, ensure customer success and adoption, leading to customer expansion.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, presentation and active listening skills.

As a Security Sales Specialist, you will help us grow our cyber security business by building and expanding relationships with new and existing customers. You will work with customers to deliver business value, demonstrate product functionality, and provide a comprehensive overview of key business use cases. You will lead day-to-day relationships with external customer stakeholders, leading with empathy, while identifying innovative ways to multiply your impact and the impact of the team as a whole. You will partner with internal Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Sales teams to grow their security businesses and drive overall value for GCP.

Responsibilities
Construct and execute an effective territory development plan, promote security products to new and existing security customers.
Develop and drive pipelines, manage cycles from lead generation to customer onboarding.
Build and maintain relationships to influence long-term strategic direction, act as a trusted advisor to the account.
Partner with Marketing, Customer Engineering, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Customer Success, Channels and Product, and Engineering teams to represent the customer and provide excellent prospect and customer experience.
Represent Google Cloud Security in regional forecasts and team meetings, serve as stakeholder to regional Cloud leads, reporting current, accurate and timely forecasting, and business performance in Salesforce and other tools.
