Description: The candidate will be supporting Physical Security duties. This position provides technical guidance and recommendations to government and industrial security officers in the methods and techniques required to meet relevant construction standards for secure facilities; provides assistance on a wide range of security related issues to the Contract Program Security Officer (CPSO) as required; provides recommended policy and procedures concerning certification and accreditation activities. Designs, develops, review & edit Fixed Facility Checklist (FFCs) for new/pre-construction, updates page changes to FFCs as needed. Design, develop, review & edit program facility accreditations and approvals for unit facilities and Operations.
Conducts physical security site surveys to assess physical construction; attend facility design reviews & pre-construction meetings to advise on appropriate accreditation criteria. Manages status of facility construction, equipment installation, accreditation documentation, scheduling, approvals & conflicts. Accomplish security self-inspections on assigned secure facilities by identifying deficiencies, developing milestones, provides follow-up on open issues as required; actively participates in customer Staff Assistant Visits, and formal inspections.
The candidate must possess and demonstrate superior verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. The candidate must be able to collaborate with internal and external customers as well as with teammates. The candidate is responsible for keeping up to date on all changes to security policy and directives issued by cognizant Government Security organizations.
Candidate must be a self-starter and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must be able to demonstrate sound judgment, a strong attention to detail, and make rational decisions. Candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements related to Special Access Programs.

Basic Qualifications:
Final transferable Secret Clearance with an investigation current or CV date within 5 years.
Must be able to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) eligibility.
Working knowledge of DoD 5205.07 SAP Manuals, ICD/ICS 705, and NISPOM.
Desired Skills:
Excellent written and verbal skills; able to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
Experience with the initial and reaccreditation process of Open Storage Area 147s and SAPFs, to include submission of Construction Security Plans (CSP).
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products.
The ability to multi-task and solve complex challenges.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $55,100 - $105,800. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
