Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Security Project Manager. This person will be responsible for leading security projects end-to-end and should be comfortable leading a project with resources located both on-shore, near-shore, and offshore. This individual should have a proven track record of leading projects through completion that require 20+ resources and ideally related to Cyber Security. This person's day will largely consist of capacity planning and resource pipelining, and they should be prepared to provide project updates on a weekly basis to leadership. The right person for this role will be a high-level communicator with the ability to proactively address problems, speak clearly about their plans to mitigate risk, and document their processes accordingly. They will be overseeing projects that relate to web application security and customer data security.
Skills and Requirements
* 5+ years working in an IT Project Management role
* Security experience -- compliance, PacBot, Patching, Cloud Security, Data Security and Privacy, implementing security standards, security system upgrades
* Proven experience delivering projects involving 20+ resources, preferably both on shore and offshore.
* Recent experience providing capacity planning and resource planning on projects and demonstrated ability to provide clear, concise, reports to upper leadership.
* High level communicator with experience providing status updates and risk mitigation efforts on scheduled calls with leadership (able to speak on avoiding or handling red/yellow projects)
* Ability and desire to be responsible for day to day management of large group of third party contractors
* Experience creating PowerPoint presentations and presenting to leadership
* Experience creating strategy documents
