About the Team The Corporate Security team is responsible for safety and physical security of all personnel and assets within Miro. Nested within the Security Stream, the team makes use of innovative technology and industry standard practices and procedures to strategize, design and implement policies and protocols to ensure the smooth functioning of the daily operations of the organization.
About the Role We are looking for a Junior Security Engineer to join Miro, who will improve Miro's corporate security by automating the implementation of technical controls while working cross-functionally to resolve security incidents and operational requests. Working alongside seasoned professionals, a person hired in this role will have the opportunity to not only create an impact by focussing on the automation of day to day tasks, but also to be a part of large-scale strategic initiatives undertaken by the team and to collaborate with some of the brightest engineers across the company into assisting the creation of the next big thing by Mironeers.
What you’ll do
Be the first point of contact for operational work such as identity and access management, group management and deep troubleshooting of in=house security controls Use Python, Terraform, GitLab and other tools to automate the configuration and management of Miro’s corporate assets Collaborate closely with various teams including IT and Product Security in Miro to identify and remediate security concerns Continually optimize and fine-tune the Security Information and event management to aid in the investigation of security incidents Empower employees to work securely from anywhere while still adhering to Zero Trust principles Collaborate and support team members and cross-functional partners on various tactical and strategic projects, as needed What you’ll need Ability to work cross functionally while under pressure Automation and scripting knowledge and experience using Python and/or Shell scripting Familiarity and experience with infrastructure as code tooling including Terraform, Ansible, GitLab etc will be a major plus Familiar with identity and access management principles and concepts.
