As a(n) Security Manager, you will help lead SNC's risk-focused security program in the protection of company and customer information, people, and assets. You will facilitate business and mission success through security customer service and management of the Security Program.
You'll be responsible for development and implementation of local security compliance requirements, support security awareness education, and participate in security compliance assessments.
As a Security Manager I, you will be responsible for all facets of SNC's Security Program to include personnel security, document control, DD254 review and preparation, visitor access and control, physical security, and supporting security investigations. You will also have the opportunity to expand your security knowledge across a wide range of security disciplines and participate in internal security working groups and special project initiatives.
The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains – air, land, sea, space and cyber.
Responsibilities:
Develops, implements, and monitors DoD and SCI security policies and procedures; ensures compliance with all aspects of the security program
Protects classified government information and manages Collateral and TS/SCI personnel security clearance and processes. Conducts initial and on-going security training and education briefings
Perform as both Facility Security Officer and Contractor Special Security Officer. Conduct DoD/SCIF self-inspections and is the primary POC during DoD/SCI-Security compliance audits/inspections
Administers routine aspects of industrial security programs and supports DoD/SCI in compliance with the NISPOM, 32CFR, DCID, ICD's and other applicable government security directives associated with SCI
Establishes and maintains a working relationship with all government agencies while building/managing SCIFs as well as processing necessary clearance paperwork for employees, candidates, and consultants
Maintains SCIF visitor control functions
Develops and administers new employee security briefings, exit interviews, and debriefings
Investigates and report security violations, and incident reports
Maintains a working relationship with each contract's security office for processing and maintaining employee clearances/accesses
Provides follow-up clearance status on processed clearance to manager for specific contracts
Maintains all security documentation and files in accordance with government requirements
Prepares necessary paperwork in support of federal government investigations or annual visits and meets with federal government representatives upon request
Where applicable works closely with the ISSM concerning accreditation and reaccreditation of classified IS Systems to include user access, auditing, configuration management, documentation, and training in accordance with USG policies and regulations
Manage after-hours alarm response activities
Must Haves:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Minimum of 4 years security-relevant experience
Extensive knowledge of both government and industrial security to analyze, evaluate, and interpret current security requirements
In-depth knowledge of 32 CFR 117: National Industrial Security Program (NISPOM) and/or Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) regulations
An active Top Secret with SCI eligibility U.S. Security Clearance is required
Preferred:
Typically, 2 years of relevant management experience
1+ years of experience managing Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) or Special Access Programs
Ability to balance security compliance requirements with SNC's mission, goals, and culture
Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects
Ability to work with people in a team environment and deal effectively with changing project priorities
Ability to manage time, make sound decisions, take independent action, analyze problems, and provide focused solutions
High degree of attention to detail
Bachelor's degree in business or security-related field

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $120,552.10 - $165,759.14. SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
