Work you'll do
The Manager, Cyber Security Engineering will plan, design, build, and support implementation on the Cyber Security Architecture and Engineering team to ensure alignment with US and Global goals. Collaborate and work with a team of Engineers and Architects that have extensive experience and responsibilities for ensuing that security is built into future IT implementations. They will need to find consensus and sophisticated solutions to complex problems that might not have been developed, by using critical thinking to ensure all stakeholders are engaged in the solution. Leverage automation to streamline cyber hygiene processes.
This position would work directly with vendors, FSS's, other DT - US teams, and other Cyber Security teams, while being a manager in the architecture and engineering team. Generate innovative ideas and challenge the status quo while producing solutions and making recommendations for adoption and integration of highly complex solution designs both on-premise and cloud.
Responsibilities:
Key contributor on the US member firm Security Architecture and Engineering team producing strategic architectural approaches and actionable insights to improve the security posture of our enterprise.
Leverage expertise from incident response to identify and remediate potential security exposures that may currently exist or may pose a potential future threat to the US Firm's networks or systems. Ensure Cyber Security leadership is notified when these exposures are identified and what measures are being taken to mitigate or remediate the situation.
Actively participate in decision making and overall Security Architecture designs with leadership offering insight into the broader impact of current decisions and long-term risks for the firm.
Maintain a strong relationship with internal resources Global leadership and FSS leaders to accurately represent those views in Architecture and Engineering designs.
Identify and remediate potential security exposures that may currently exist or may pose a potential future threat to the US Firm's networks or systems.
Work jointly with other Infrastructure and Cyber Security teams to periodically review existing security device architecture and enact remediations to keep pace with evolving threats and technologies.

Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 6 years of directly related technology security engineering experience including subject matter expertise in area managed.
Minimum 1 year of leadership/management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in new product investigation, evaluation, and implementation in a large enterprise environment.
Expertise in partnering with threat intelligence and incident response teams to identify and remediate potential security exposures that may currently exist or may pose a potential future threat to the US Firm's networks or systems.
Demonstrated knowledge in on or more of the following information security domains, including: Security Governance, Management, Policies and Procedures, Cloud Security and automation of security processes, Network Security Operations, Security Architectures and Information Classification, Identity Management and Access Control, Disaster Recovery Business Continuity, Risk Management, Secure System Development Life Cycle and strong technical documentation skills; workflows, architectural diagrams, support documentation
Demonstrated experience in presenting recommendations to senior leaders offering insight into the broader impact of current decisions and long-term risks for the firm.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $113100 to $232300
