This position is primarily based in a location within PNC's footprint. Responsibilities require time in the office or in a field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities can be performed remotely. Additional locations may be considered.

As a Security Analyst within the Third Party Security Assurance (TPSA) team, you will be a member of PNC’s Policy, Governance, and Assessments department that is part of PNC’s overall Enterprise Information Security organization.
Job Profile:
The Security Analyst in this role is primarily responsible for coordinating and scheduling security risk assessments across the PNC portfolio of technology suppliers that meet the criteria for security risk assessments. The role will require extensive coordination with internal lead assessors and PNCs Risk Office Engagement and Business Owners as well as with the external suppliers. The Scheduling Coordinator will also take on a key role supporting team Reporting and Metrics and ensure team Policies, Procedures, and Job Aids are kept up to date and revised according to lifecycle standards. Responsibilities within this position will include:
• Develop and maintain processes and reporting to adequately schedule the calendar of assessments for the team across a given calendar year.
• Develop and manage consistent and effective email communications and calendar entries for both internal and external participants.
• Coordinate and schedule assessments with suppliers to fit availability of stakeholder teams and in accordance with expected risk based cadence across the calendar year.
• Drive adherence to team SLAs through professional conflict resolution and escalate potential issues or unresolved problems for team awareness.
• Create and maintain a documented Business Exception process when an assessment is unable to be scheduled/held during the expected window of time within the calendar year for audit purposes.
As an integral part of the operational processes of this team, you will need to be an independent leader for the team to keep assessments on-schedule and meeting team service level agreements.
REQUIRED skills:
• Ability to manage a dynamic workload with shifting priorities.
• Proficient knowledge of Cyber Assessment processes.
• An understanding of security governance frameworks – e.g. NIST, FFIEC Handbooks, CRI Profile, etc.
• Experience with supporting toolsets including Sharepoint, Jira, Confluence, and Tableau.
PREFERRED skills:
• Proficiency using scripting and/or reporting tools including Tableau.
• CCSK, CCAK, CRISC, CISSP Certification(s)
Job Description
Provides technical evaluation and analysis. Supports activities, process, and tools needed to improve overall security posture of the organization.
Applies security concepts, reviews information, executes defined tasks, analyzes requirements, reviews logs, and creates documentation. Performs investigation and data loss prevention, data manipulation, and coordination of activities. Performs actions to address or mitigate risks and vulnerabilities. Reviews and defines controls.
Advises on more complex security procedures and products for clients, security administrators and network operations. Participates in enforcement of control security risks and threats; potential of one more controls subject to manager discretion. Shares knowledge with staff.
Conducts security assessments and other information security routines consistently. Investigates and recommends corrective actions for data security related to established guidelines.

Work Experience
Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience. Certifications are often desired. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
