Description: Maintains the Combat Training Center-Instrumentation System (CTC-IS) audit functions for the Army TADSS Maintenance Program in Orlando, FL.
Specific duties include:
• Maintain the CTC-IS audit functions and have the ability to review audit information for detection of possible system abuse and to coordinate with the ISSO
• In coordination with the ISSO, ensure all components of the CTC-IS are protected so that the CTC-IS can operate effectively and securely
• Complete an information system security course of instruction appropriate to level of responsibilities
• Reviews on a daily basis, the firewall/IPS log data to determine if attacks or inappropriate activity has occurred.
• Operate on a 24/7 schedule during rotation and/or operation support.
• Review and analyze CTC-IS audit records for normal activities such as:
• Account usage
• Remote access
• Configuration settings
• System component inventory
• Temperature and humidity
• Equipment delivery and removal
• Communications at the information system boundaries
• Excessive failed logins
• Unusual log in times/dates
• Excessive Sensitive file/folder access
Basic Qualifications:
• Maintains industry certification in accordance with DOD 8570.01-M and DODD 8140.01 for IAT Level II
• Maintain at least one security-specific, industry certification for Computing Environment (CYSA+, CCNA Security, CEH, CISA, etc.) in accordance with DOD 8570.01-M and DODD 8140.01
• In-depth knowledge of SPLUNK and other SIEM tools.

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree. Considered experienced, but still a learner.
