Your role
The Fixed Income Client Service team at UBS is responsible for the allocation and confirmation process for our institutional clients.
The role offers opportunity to engage with members of various business groups across the firm globally and to learn many facets of IB Operations and the Investment Banking industry.
In this role, the individual's responsibilities include the following:
- point of contact for Fixed Income product confirmations; manage client queries until point of resolution; manage risks associated with unmatched trades coordinate across internal teams and implement measures to fix query drivers.
- review and manage client trades on a daily basis; monitor matching status to ensure all trades, are confirmed and all trade issues or breaks are escalated in a timely manner;
-review client Operational performance, particularly focusing on error rates and driving them down; identify recurring issues and carry out root cause analysis with objective of resolving issues at source; collate and present data to client and senior management for review;
-participate in process improvement projects and collaborate with IT for testing and system upgrade.

We are seeking an individual to join our team in Nashville. In this role, we provide transactional support to our institutional clients, as well as interact with multiple stakeholders internally including sales traders, front office support teams, settlements and static data teams. You will draw on the strengths of UBS platforms, products, services, and people worldwide to provide exceptional client service.
Your expertise
You have:
- Bachelor's degree-BS or BA required (Finance/Business related major is a plus)
- Experience in operational services; Finance, Investment Bank a plus.
- the proven ability to build, maintain and enhance relationships at all levels
- ability to explain one's work clearly and concisely and communicate to all levels at the bank
- Being a self-starter, taking initiatives, being curious of what we do and how to improve is a must
- High degree of maturity and strong commitment to integrity and teamwork
- Able to work across multiple groups and geographies
- Demonstrates a strong client focused mindset balanced with a clear risk management approach; Commitment to satisfying internal and external customers
- Ability to remain composed under pressure
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent ability to work with Excel, and other Microsoft applications
- Critical thinking, attention to details, creative problem-solving are important for this position
