Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking an Advanced Programs Manager Programs 3. This position will be located in Huntsville, AL and will support the Advanced Programs Business Unit. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
The Advanced Programs Manager 3 will be responsible for leading multiple teams through the design, integration, and testing of project(s). This position will also be responsible for managing cost, schedule, technical statement of work, as well as developing the pertinent strategic roadmap and interfacing with customer counterparts.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You'll Bring These Qualifications: Bachelors Degree and 8 years of related experience or Masters Degree and 6 years of related experience or an additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree3 years in a formal lead/ management position5 years of experience with DoD weapon system conceptual and preliminary design, particularly related to design analysis cycles, cost versus capability trade studies, and multi-design discipline integration5 years of experience with ballistic missile, cruise missile, and/or weapon design to include vehicle, payload, command and control, ground systems, and support systems1+ years of experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles and application or as a Cost Account Manager (CAM)U.S. Citizenship and an active Secret DoD Security Clearance with a periodic reinvestigation closed within last five years. These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: Bachelor of Science degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) 5 years of experience with digital design, model-based engineering, and modeling and simulation tools and processesDoD Project or program manager experience of a dollar value $20M or greater.Experience with NCTA Management and StrategyExperience managing a multi-disciplinary teams, and teams of teamsExperience with nuclear hardened strategic systemsExperience with detailed design and engineering and manufacturing developmentExperience with performance analysis balancing propulsion, aerodynamics, G&C, mass properties, etc. with speed, range, payload, etc. objectives/requirementsExcellent technical writing skillExcellent verbal and interpersonal skills required to work closely with both internal staff and external customers and partnersSalary Range: $160,100 - $240,100
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
