Kforce has a client that is seeking a SDET in Durham, NC.Responsibilities:
SDET will design, develop, document, and maintain automated tests and in-house software utilities
Adhere to established software engineering best practices and standards
Collaborate with other technical resources
As a SDET, you will suggest improvements for processes, best practices, and standards
Understand and apply test driven design concepts to test and debug automated solutions and software utilities developed by self and others
Design and develop automated tests and/or software tools
Identify opportunities to improve maintainability of automation platform
Deliver accurate and maintainable code for test automation and software utilities
BS/BA degree or equivalent education or experience
3 years of software product experience working on commercially available software/years of relevant technical experience and experience in test automation
Proven experience in Agile/Scrum methodology
Hands on experience with crafting and maintaining testing frameworks like Selenium (TestNG)/ Cucumber
Hands-on experience driving innovation process from end-to-end
Experience with SQL databases
Strong knowledge a programming language such as Java or Java Script
Good understanding of web services testing and familiarity with RestAssured
Good understanding of Jenkins as CI Tool and configuration
Highly collaborative individual with ability to influence others and build strong partner relationships internally, as well as externally
Background in DevOPS environment is preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
