Job Description
An enterprise eCommerce employer is seeking a Scrum Master to join their team in Queretaro, Mexico. This Scrum Master should be ready and able to join an Agile team. This Scrum Master:
Delivers business value by ensuring the team executes the work efficiently and effectively
Assesses the team's strengths and weaknesses and plans how to improve them
Adapts the agile ceremonies to suit the team's needs, style and maturity level
Removes any obstacles or issues that hinder the team's progress or performance
Optimizes the workflow and eliminates any waste or delays
Establishes trust and clear communication with internal and external stakeholders
Holds the team accountable for defining and delivering a quality product that meets the customer's needs and expectations
Leads a dynamic planning process that prioritizes the most valuable work for the team
Supports the product owner or product manager in managing a well-defined and prioritized product backlog
Uses tools like Jira to track, measure and report on various metrics that indicate the team's maturity, happiness, effectiveness, throughput, velocity and portfolio health
Guides the team and organization on how to apply agile and scrum principles and values to create customer delight
This role is a hybrid work scheme with 3 days a week onsite in Queretaro, Mexico. Relocation packages are available.
Skills and Requirements
5+ years of experience as a dedicated Scrum Master
Strong proficiency with JIRA (pulling reports, monitoring statistics, creating update reports for upper leadership)
Strong skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency. Has experience as a mentor, agile coach and/or trainer
Software product development experience
Awareness and experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, BDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games.
Knowledge of other Agile approaches: DevOps Agile, XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc.
Knowledge of JavaScript and react.js
Experience executing process change management techniques null
