Requirements
As Scrum Master you will work with our Product Department to:
Hold the Product Representative responsible for meeting the Definition of Ready on all stories presented to the Scrum Team(s)
Ensure that goals, scope, and product impact are understood by everyone on the Scrum Team.
Help the Scrum Team(s) understand the need for clear and concise Product Backlog items with good Acceptance Criteria.
Help the Product Representative to prioritize the Product Backlog to maximize value.
Discourage changes to the Sprint and understand and mitigate the impact.
As Scrum Master you will be part of the Development Teams and will be responsible for:
Coaching the Teams in self-organization and cross-functionality.
Help the Development Team to meet the Definition of Done.
Remove impediments to the Development Team’s progress.
Facilitate Scrum events.
Coach the Development Team on agile practices that are in-line with the CARET standards.
Provide visibility into the Agile teams’ delivery plans and Release plans on the program level to stakeholders. Include coordinating releases across multiple teams.
Additional responsibilities include:
Help employees and stakeholders understand and enact agile product development.
Drive team retrospectives and continuous improvement
Be transparent in communication and status of the Sprint, PI, and Team
Organize and keep Jira and Confluence up to date.
Work with other stakeholders and engineering teams to clear dependencies for the teams
Take on Senior Scrum Master Responsibilities to host PI Planning preparation and execution, support the creation of a Program Backlog, and facilitate meetings across teams and products.
Develop and implement the stakeholder communication plan ensuring successful stakeholder engagement at all levels.
Facilitate the creation and adoption of working agreements and definitions of ready / definition of done based on CARET’s standards.
Measures team and program delivery, maturity, and performance and reviews the metrics with the team to identify improvement opportunities.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Project Management
Experience managing projects using Agile methodology.
Skills in planning, analysis, and implementation of product development phases
Familiar with setting scope, goals, and deliverables
Proficient in JIRA and Confluence.
Ability to Facilitate relationships within the team and across teams to be productive and collaborative, through building rapport, trust, and respect.
Servant Leader who fosters self-organization and a culture of ownership and accountability on the team

Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field preferred.
Certified scrum master, SAFe or Scrum@Scale preferred.
4-6+ years of experience as a scrum master or in a similar role.
Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as SAFe, Scrum@Scale, Scrum and/or Kanban for software product development
Leadership and management experience is preferred.
Excellent people and project management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Pay range: $100,000 - $130,000 Actual base pay will depend on varying circumstances, including the position, location, individual qualifications, market finances, and other operations business needs.
Depending on the position, compensation may also include commission, bonuses, etc. Potential for bonuses is based on company performance and potential for merit increases is based on performance.
