Scheduler/Risk Adjustment Representative 3 position is a scheduling role for record retrieval associates in Gulf South Risk Adjustment team.
The Scheduler/ Risk Adjustment Representative 3 is scheduling up to 500 + Humana provider locations for Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi, Louisiana, and SW Virginia.
Responsibilities:
Daily phone calls to provider offices and the ability to schedule appointments to meet production goals.Role is production driven, high paced and requires remarkable communication skillsMultiple tasks throughout the day, prioritize while staying organized and maintain a professional composure at all timesCalling and speaking with provider offices to schedule appointments, ensuring accuracy of the scheduling database and researching provider locationsDaily activities include working in the scheduling system (Cotiviti), monitoring and maintaining hundreds of provider locations, working with copy services and fielding retrieval associate callsInteracts with provider staff; consisting of front desk associates, office managers, nurses, medical record associates as well as individual doctors. Phone calls are not always pleasant, professional composure is key and required for the role

Required Qualifications
2 or more years of administrative, medical administration or provider office experienceProficient in Microsoft Office Word and ExcelMicrosoft Outlook- Proficient in calendar managementWorking knowledge of computers, or a demonstrated technical aptitude and an ability to quickly learn new systemsReliable vehicle transportationThis role is part of Humana's Driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits

Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical, organizational and time management skillsKnowledge and experience in health care environment/managed careKnowledge of ICD-10 codes
