Tellepsen is looking for talented Scheduler.
Job Purpose
Scheduler responsibility includes planning, creating, updating, and coordinating multiple project schedules. Works closely with preconstruction and operations departments to build, evaluate and optimize project schedules throughout project life cycle
Duties and Responsibilities
Create and maintain all project logs (Procurement, Submittal, Change Proposals, etc.)
Develop and maintain the project schedules utilizing P6 software platform.
Work with multiple Project Managers concurrently to support projects in various phases of design and construction.
Prepares summary or detailed schedules for proposed projects to determine overall project duration, general conditions, and equipment needs and are to be incorporated into the proposal.
Works with the project team to establish sequencing, durations, and general logic for the construction of the project.
Assist in integrating the schedule with the cost controls and quantity reporting system.
Facilitate weekly schedule meetings and Progress/Cost review meetings with the client representatives.
Identify and report the impact of performed and delayed work by updating the approved schedule and financial reporting programs.
Project Finance Management (Job Cost, Invoicing, etc.)
Project Close Out.
Take an active role in preconstruction efforts.
Produce reports required by the contract specifications and project management team.
Provide technical scheduling support for Team Members.
Qualifications
5+ years’ experience in commercial construction, preferably within Tellepsen’s core market projects. Bachelor’s degree required (Construction Management related field preferred)
Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6, Bluebeam, PlanGrid/Autodesk Build
Strong leadership skills
Detailed and hands on approach
Client focused
Proficient in the use of technology including project management software
Completion of OSHA 30
