As a key member of the Project Execution Team, the Schedule Integration and Planning Manager is responsible for leading an organization of matrix employees managing capital projects on-site encompassing outsourced general contractors, A/E Architecture and Engineering firms, and key trade companies in the Semiconductor and Office Building Construction Industry.
The position reports to the Project Director and in this role, the person will be accountable for all aspects of the leadership and management of the project team which includes people management, supplier management, day to day operations, major project scope, schedule performance, and budget monitoring and controls for Intel construction projects without impact to factory operations. This role is expected to make breakthroughs in our construction capability through sourcing and developing contractor companies and making significant changes in integrated construction solutions and major changes in our cost of construction.
The Schedule Integration and Planning Manager will need to use schedule analytics to see connections in the planning phase before they happen and work collaboratively to find solutions. But the magic won't stop there. We need a go-getter that will then drive those solutions to closure by executing with a sense of urgency and holding teams accountable to ensure promises made are promises kept. With an eye towards Intel's best interests, we are looking for someone who is diplomatic, customer-oriented, and has a willingness to influence highly matrixed teams with seemingly conflicting needs.
This is an onsite position at our campus in Hillsboro, Oregon and relocation assistance will be provided.
As a Schedule Integration Manager your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Develop and manage the Owner's Program schedule that will define the key activities to monitor progress and interface points between multiple projects.
Maintain milestone documents, working with procurement to update contracts when necessary due to program changes.
Work directly with the schedulers from the various general contractors and design-build teams to monitor schedule risk and ensure standard methodologies are employed.
Track construction progress, document commitments, and compare construction forecasts to changing needs.
Review weekly or bi-weekly schedules published by the constructor and is acknowledged or dispute where there are inaccuracies.
Ensure schedule published contains all coding and details as required by contract and ensure the schedule logic is complete with proper use of lags and constraints.
Review leading indicators such as Float Trend, PAS, Start Finish Curves, and more.
Produce weekly indicators to be used in executive management report outs.
Collaborate with other key Project Control resources such as cost control to identify areas of concern for Program and Project Management to address.
Work with Program Management to develop recommendations for corrective action plans.
Partner successfully with key stakeholders including factory staff, facility owners, global supply management, central design and site construction, and suppliers.
Build and drive safety Culture of Care in every business environment, office to the construction sites, and from front-end planning to construction execution.

Communication skills including the willingness to manage discussions with executive management, drilling down to details and managing an effort hands-on if the need arises to drive necessary decision making.
This role entails intensive planning and design efforts in various areas of this function, for this project and related projects.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree with 6 years of experience in Engineering or Construction Management, Civil/Industrial Engineering or closely related field.Preferred Qualifications:Master's degree with 4 years experience experience in Engineering or Construction Management, Civil/Industrial Engineering or closely related field.10 years Primavera P6 (or comparable scheduling platforms) usage on large complex or highly integrated projects.Experience leading and managing large construction projects including design management, engineering, or construction management.Project schedule quality analysis and reporting as well as critical path analysis.Semiconductor and/or Heavy Industrial Experience.
