Actalent is hiring for one of the largest energy infrastructure companies in North America. They have an interest in or operate over 50,000 miles of pipelines and over 100 terminals. Pipelines transport natural gas, gasoline, crude oil, carbon dioxide (CO2) and more. This is a hybrid flexible role to which the candidate should have a flexible schedule for on call situations.
Description:
Mapping out projects
Would be answering call from operations and maintenance having issues
Preventing job from being safe or product moving development work for ongoing- $1.2mil to upgrade operating system of current SCADA platform (2.5years)
Alot of testing has to go on- Factory acceptance Test- FAT testing
Each device need to respond appropriately to its function
3500 devices in the terminal
understands PLC (system platform- abeba)
Wonderware products - acquired by abeba
Intouch
Proficient in ladder logic
• basic language that PLC understand
• Windows- Server OS management skills
• Sysco- networking products for network switches
Additional Skills Qualifications:
Someone who understands automation, PLC (program computers in the field) , understand rules and logic on how they communicate and work
Design work for future projects for capital projects
Personality and mindset are important
