Thomson Reuters CIO -Corporate services - Finance IT group is looking for a dynamic SAP S/4 Finance support lead who will own the Level 3 support across S/4 HANA platform working closely with Internal Technology teams, Finance and Accounting BUs as well as Vendor partners in delivering end to end Enterprise / Corporate Technology solutions.
About the Role
In this opportunity as S/4 Finance Lead Level 3 , you will:
Proposes, programs or configures, documents and tests business solution in SAP/FICO application according to the functional and technical requirements.Knowledgeable and skilled in maintenance of SAP/FICO module and related sub modules (GL,AR, AP, AA and Project system).Demonstrate a commitment to customer service; anticipate, meet and exceed expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively; making customer issues a priority.Good ABAP programming skills, Issue Analysis and Debugging Skills are important.Design and develop methods of extraction for data from multiple sources SAP & non-SAP).Act as the technical expert, ensuring quick turnaround in identifying application issues and providing timely solutions.Collaborate with Architects and Portal Admins for design and development of reporting. Writes high quality code according to specifications always keeping in mind reusability.Manage operational support, performing work during change windows as well as providing on call support as required by the team.Leads and mentors more junior developers in defining application system scope and objectives through research and fact finding.Employ Agile development methodologies and proactively promote best practice and innovation and Adhere Thomson Reuters ProcessConfidently contribute to the development and refinement of our governance structures including Source Control and Release Management techniques
About You
You're a fit for the role if your background includes:
Requires a bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience with 3-4 Implementation/Support experience in implementing SAP FICO, ABAP and, SAP Native Hana, S/4 HANA.Fluent English is a must.Experience in software development and functional requirements to develop functional specs for program changes, make Configuration settings, perform testing, conduct system demos and work with users providing training and testing support. In this position, you will be part of a team of Developers and Functional Analysts who are engaged in a large-scale effort to design, develop, implement, and support SAP FI applications and migrated S/4 HANA.You will implement robust development of reports/programs/enhancement to improve our ability to support various teams, interact with our stakeholders and your peer team members.You will be expected to maintain awareness of SAP trends, technologies, best practices while excelling with constant changes.You must have the ability to promote a spirit of partnership and collegiality across administrative and functional/Technical areas of the company. You will be expected to contribute with hands-on development.
