About SAP IT Applications Analyst - Senior

  As an SAP IT Applications Analyst, you will facilitate support of our Global SAP Financial Accounting solutions to enhance business functionality and overall performance, while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction. In addition, you will partner with customers to analyze and define requirements. Analysts in this IT support role will implement, customize, test solutions, write documentation and develop specific enhancements to meet business requirements as needed.

  Responsibilities:

  Provide functional and technical support for SAP Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Asset, Procure to Pay, FSCM, Credit Management & Collections, Travel, and GL systems in the capacity of an IT Analyst.

  Deliver end-user support utilizing Service Now (help desk) to address IT-related issues.

  Engage in SAP system configuration and support, including integration design, system enhancement design, issue resolution, and process improvement.

  Establish and maintain effective support mechanisms for long-term sustainability.

  Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to comprehend their requirements and goals, ensuring alignment with IT systems.

  Work in tandem with business and IT representatives to design, implement, and test solutions using SAP standard functionality.

  Maintain, enhance, and offer upgrade support for SAP FI modules and their integrations based on business requirements

  Foster knowledge sharing and collaboration with colleagues and teams.

  Apply critical thinking skills to prepare test and process documentation as required.

  Desired skill set includes proficiency in documenting business processes and configuration.

  Job Qualifications:

  3-5 years of hands-on experience in SAP Finance configuration.

  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical or relevant business process area (e.g., Accounting) is required. A relevant (e.g., Computer Science, IT, MBA) master’s degree is a plus.

  Possess advanced accounting skills and a comprehensive understanding of financial processes.

  Strong analytical skills are a prerequisite for success in this role.

  In-depth knowledge of SAP Finance solutions, covering end-to-end processes.

  Expertise in SAP Configuration and Processes, specifically in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, FSCM credit and collections, Fixed Assets, General Ledger, Purchasing, SAP Query, and LSMW.

  Familiarity with SAP purchasing, Procure to Pay (P2P), and finance implications.

  Proficient in using SAP LSMW and SAP query tools (e.g., SQVI / SQ01) for creating and editing.

  Demonstrated strong presentation and English communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of a global organization.

  Self-motivated analyst with a deep understanding of business processes.

  Skilled at collaborating with personnel and management at all levels on a global scale.

  Strong team player, proactive learner, committed to keeping knowledge and skills up to date, and adaptable to working with team members and end users from diverse backgrounds.

  Preferred Skills, Education or Experience:

  Functional and technical expertise in Procure to Pay (P2P) and workflows

  Proficiency in the MS Office Product Suite.

  Familiarity with Microsoft Teams collaboration platform.

  Experience with Worksoft Certify for efficient test automation.

  Knowledge of qTest for effective test management.

  Proven experience in supporting SAP user security roles.

  Background in SAP support for multiple countries on a global instance.

  Desired skill set includes hands-on experience in documenting business processes and configuration.

  Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

  Role will be remote with some flexibility in location.

  Will support discussions in various time zones, so virtual meetings outside of home time zone will be necessary.

  Travel required to support customer engagements: < 10%
