As an SAP Cloud Lead Architect, you will join our growing SAP Cloud Team and drive the presales, architecture and delivery of our client’s move of their SAP estate into Public Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure and GCP. This will include multiple verticals such as Financial Services, Energy and Utilities, Retail, Manufacturing or Public Sector.

　　You will work with our clients from the start of their journey to the cloud, through to go-live and utilising of Hyperscaler services as part of their onward cloud journey.

　　Key Responsibilities

　　Lead SAP on Cloud North American capability with key focus on enabling customer transformation journeys on the cloud.

　　Responsibility for supporting the development and closing of “SAP on Cloud” service opportunities for Capgemini in North America.

　　Managing strategic relationships with key partners including SAP, Microsoft, AWS and Google.

　　Lead client visits – from the stage of planning, identifying key participants, story board for the meeting, reviewing content, planning demos/team discussions and front ending the discussion.

　　Assist the sales team in prospecting with relevant pitch and market/company specific data.

　　Generate collaterals, case studies, white papers, etc. and assist sales in cloud evangelism.

　　Take on project delivery roles, as required, to ensure project and service quality

　　Support the development of project and consultancy portfolio items and offers for the practice.

　　Provide training and guidance on the cloud including public & private as well as related platform engineering to sales and account teams.

　　Be recognized as one of the go-to SAP Technical Architecture and cloud experts in the Capgemini NA business.

　　Demonstrable experience of selling and/or delivering SAP systems on public cloud platforms

　　Demonstrated knowledge in Capability management, SAP Pre-sales, SAP architecture, Migration and deployment, and establishing Target operating model for SAP solutions on cloud

　　Detailed knowledge and experience of some of the following:

　　o Experience and deep knowledge of SAP systems (full SAP Business Suite, SAP HANA, SAP HANA S/4 Private and Public cloud, and supporting SAP products, such as SAP Business Objects, SAP Afaria, SAP PI/PO, SAP SolMan, GRC, Portal, UI5/Fiori etc and their architecture and infrastructure needs. Experience in SAP RISE (optional).

　　o In-depth knowledge of SAP installations and migrations (SAP HANA and Non HANA systems)

　　o Experience and deep knowledge of SAP system migration or upgrades (Homogeneous and Heterogeneous)

　　o Migrating to or operating SAP in the cloud

　　o Certification in at least one major cloud service provider (AWS, Azure, or Google)

　　o AWS and/or Azure platform features and capabilities

　　o Prior experience of Data Centre Migration projects involving SAP workloads to AWS/Azure/GCP

　　o Strong understanding of Server/DB/OS technology, HA/DR/BCP, network & security requirements.

　　o Understanding of SAP NZDT and other tools/services for production cut-overs & go-lives

　　o SAP on cloud patterns for high availability and disaster recovery

　　o Familiarity with Cloud Provider Tools and best practices for Well-architected design patterns, TCO calculators etc for AWS/Azure and GCP

　　o Ability to create Bill of Materials using suitable Cloud provider components (Memory-Optimized, CPU-Optimized) that are SAP-certified for appropriate SAP usage and pricing.

　　· Execute on assigned RFP/RFI/proposals/proposal sections and deliver a high-quality response in terms of content, formatting and value-adds.

　　· Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must. Ability to interact with technical and business stakeholders at all levels is a key requirement

　　· Hands on experience in writing proposals and delivering customer presentations.

　　· Hard-working, detailed, quality and deliverable-oriented.

　　· Excellent communication and written skills.

　　· Excellent presentation and proposal/RFP skills.

　　· Completely flexible and mobile to travel within the US and globally, as required.
