THE ROLE
The Sales and Marketing Coordinator is responsible for building and maintaining the prospect database across the region. The individual will conduct research through various online channels (such as Linkedin) to identify key contacts and prospect targets for the sales team to pursue.
This individual will also on occasion support marketing activities by developing invite lists for face-to-face events, webinars, and general marketing campaigns, which will offer the opportunity to liaise and interact with prospects.
This role would support/report into the Sales lead for the ANZ region and has constant engagement and interlinks with the local sales team as this role straddles both marketing and sales.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Carry out exploratory research and identify potential target accounts and decision makers within them
Build and maintain the prospect database across the region, ensuring it remains current and up-to-date.
Collaborate with sales and presales teams to hone best sales approaches and angles
Leverage market insights and intent data to target the right prospect organizations at the right time
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in marketing or any related field
Ideally 1+ years’ experience in a Business development/Market research/Demand generation role
Strong communication skills
Self- motivated, with high energy and an enthusiasm
Ability to work individually and as part of a team
High level of integrity and work ethic
Digitally savvy: well versed in platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter
Familiarity with CRM systems like SFDC (nice to have)
