SUMMARY OF THE ROLE The Salesforce Developer at Finalsite is responsible for improving and enhancing the Salesforce platform for our organization. The post holder is responsible for working alongside our Salesforce Administrator to collaborate on specifications based on stakeholder requirements, validate the proposals, and deliver the solutions. LOCATION 100% Remote - Anywhere within the US RESPONSIBILITIES • Work closely with the Salesforce Administrator to scope, build, configure and automate technology solutions on the Salesforce.com platform to deliver business value • Maintain existing and develop new functionality that supports scalable processes within existing (and future-state) Sales and Marketing tech stack. • Develop Flows, Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components, and Visualforce to extend Salesforce in order to support business requirements • Use Salesforce APIs to integrate with other systems used in the organization • Application development, including basic Visualforce pages/Lightning pages, Lightning Web Components • Assist with each release cycle to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code with a keen eye on continuous delivery, optimization, monitoring, and release management. • Working with integrated applications such as Conga Composer, DocuSign, Hubspot, 6sense, iCapture, Totango, Form Assembly, Cloud4j, Gearset, Panaya Foresight, and others. • Implement coding best practices to ensure optimal system performance and data quality • Write / maintain test classes for all custom development • Complete unit and system testing and debugging • Support of post-deployment activities, including knowledge transfer, process/technical documentation, and application bug fixes QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS • A Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience. • Minimum 5 years in a relevant role for a SaaS organization with a proven record of success. • Experience implementing and developing in Apex, Visualforce, and Javascript • Competency in HTML, XML, Flex, ASP, SQL, Java or C++, REST and SOAP-based web services preferred • Understanding of CI/CD processes and integration concepts • Salesforce Certified in at least one of the following: Certified Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, Salesforce Certified Integration Architecture Designer, Salesforce Certified System Architect, Salesforce Certified Development Lifecycle and Deployment Designer, Salesforce Certified Data Architect, Salesforce Certified Application Architect, Salesforce Certified JavaScript Developer, Salesforce Certified User Experience Designer • A proactive attitude to Salesforce enhancements • Ability to interpret technical specifications • Active in the Salesforce community • Demonstrates continued personal/professional development • Detail-oriented, organized, and quality conscious. • Strong time management skills with the ability to stay focused and attuned to their research questions, and deliver final projects in a timely manner.
