The Amazon Freight Sales Operations Team is seeking a Salesforce Administrator to scale Amazon Freight’s CRM platform.
The Amazon Freight Salesforce Administrator will empower internal users to deliver a customer-first end-to-end sales lifecycle experience using SF and integrated tools. This role will own Salesforce enhancements by thoroughly understanding business problems, capturing critical requirements and propose, test and implement solutions. The right candidate will drive operational excellence via day-to-day management of our SF instance, InfoSec compliance and cross-collaboration with stakeholders.
Salesforce administration experience, understanding of system data concepts, effective stakeholder management and ability to deliver in ambiguity are essential.
Key job responsibilities
This role will play a critical role in Amazon Freight’s Salesforce strategy and execution. You will:
• Manage Salesforce requests, maintenance and security needs by providing top support for our users, escalating to partner teams as necessary and closing out cases in a timely manner.
• Configure Salesforce features for user management, permissions sets, custom objects, page layouts, validations, flows, lightning components, custom settings and managed packages.
• Build and provide support for dashboards and reports that drive periodical insights into our sales, operators and customers for multiple audiences within Amazon Freight.
• Understand customer, internal sales and account management team needs and translate them into business requirements for configuration and development in Salesforce.
• Build a seamless, end-to-end user experience for effective customer lifecycle management.
• Understand system dependencies and relationship to integrated systems to provide the most accurate, up-to-date data to empower real-time decision making for our users.
• Identify key initiatives for sales tools roadmap development and prioritization in partnership with business stakeholders.
• Partner with global stakeholders to proactively identify operational and technical improvements that drive sales productivity and enhance customer experience.
• Manage and prioritize multiple projects at once, and effectively communicate needs to appropriate stakeholders to remove risks and blockers.
• Use internal mechanisms to effectively monitor system health, proactively mitigate risks and setup system policies that encourage our users to properly adopt and use our tools.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3+ years Salesforce.com Admin experience using Enterprise Level instance.
• Certified Salesforce.com Salesforce Administrator (ADM-201)
• Experience using Salesforce data tools (Data Loader, DemandTools, Workbench)
• Experience with Lightning Reports and Dashboards creation, Process Automation, Security configuration.
• Understanding of the capabilities and constraints of the Salesforce.com CRM application coupled with good understanding of standard business processes (Sales, Marketing, Operations, etc.)
• Highly detailed, organized and ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications
• Certified Salesforce.com Advanced Administrator (ADM-211)
• Proficient in point and click configuration using complex flows, technical diagramming, validation rules, sales process setup, roles & profiles, reports and dashboards
• Experience in using Salesforce for B2B, transportation, supply chain and/or consulting industries.
• Experience with Salesforce APIs and third-party integration tools
• Experience working with large data volumes and data migrations across multiple tools and systems
• In-depth experience/understanding of Salesforce schema, capabilities and constraints coupled with strong ability to comprehend/automate Sales, Ops and/or Marketing processes.
• Experience working with large data volumes and data migrations across multiple tools and systems
• Experience with AWS products (S3, SES, SQS, Redshift) and Amazon third party security and data management standards.
• Experience working in iterative projects, and with deployment strategies/processes (staging environment vs. production)
• Strong understanding of Agile-based development practices and Sprint planning strategies. Project management and/or business process management certification or equivalent experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $169,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
