This is an enterprise global Sales Specialist Director position focused on driving business objectives to obtain commercial targets within defined commercial accounts. While working in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment, this role will be challenged with proactively generating sales to help continue to develop this growing sub-segment. This role brings deep expertise and thought leadership on global products and assigned industry vertical into ongoing sales pursuits. The Sales Specialist Director role acts as subject matter expert on specific industry vertical-Regulated, products, and partners closely with various groups to support ongoing sales growth opportunities. This is a team-oriented group that promotes innovative thought and idea sharing.

Accumulates expertise and demonstrates mastery of specific industry vertical- Regulated, product / contentPossesses a deep understanding of the most relevant customer needs within area of specialism by providing thought leadershipIdentifies how customer needs can be addressed through different product options and configurations to deliver the most impactShares knowledge and best practices with broader Sales team by supporting on pursuitsDefaults to engaging customers through virtual channels for the majority of dealsActs as overlay support towards the end of the Sales cycle, to drive sales towards closeFocuses on more complex, higher value new logo and incremental sales (upsell and cross-sell) opportunitiesWorks in a pooled team across accounts within subsegment, rather than account or territory-alignedGathers and shares best practices across the broader Sales teams to support account / territory strategiesGrow sales in collaboration with Sales Executives, Customer Success Executives, Solution Consultants, and utilizing specialist knowledge to deliver gross salesMajor emphasis on opening up new business, both within existing accounts and new customersAssist in key retention situations as requiredProvides deep product expertise to drive sales and renewals to closeNew logo salesExisting account incremental salesMay not be individually quota carrying, where primarily pooled across a large number of deals

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following states: CA, CO, CT, IL, NV, TX, WA and/or remote. The target total cash compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $227,500 - $422,500. The target total cash compensation range in other locations may vary. This is inclusive of both base pay and any target sales incentive. Pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay and any target sales incentive are part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
