Job Purpose:
Our Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and executing thesales strategy for selling Veritiv's rigid products and serviceswithin a designated geography or industry. Duties include new businessdevelopment, maintaining customer relationships, providing customerspecific solutions and meeting established sales targets. This positionrequires a competitive and motivated spirit with the drive to solve problems.
Job Responsibilities:
? Sell and promote products and value-added services to meet orexceed individual and company goals in an established territory.? Develop and implement a customer contact plan to communicateproduct launches and engage the potential customers in relevant salescampaigns to build new relationships.? Identify opportunities and present solutions offered by theorganization that meet the customer's needs? Develop and provide custom presentations and business reviewson Veritiv solutions that could impact customer growth opportunities.? Work with vendors and core suppliers to develop new businessand protect existing business? Utilize CRM to schedule follow-up actions and record relevantinformation to build upon customer interactions.? Create a personal network and represent the organization atbusiness sector events to enhance the company brand.? Act as first point of contact for customer inquiries andcomplaints and proactively strive for resolutions in a timely manner.? Align with various sales representatives to expand segment andproduct knowledge base and collaborate on promoting solutions to customers.? Actively leverage sales technology and tools to meet strategicaccount planning objectives and maximize customer and segment growthpotential.? Participate in training and development programs to enhancesales competencies and further expand ability to effectively generateprofitable customer and segment growth.
Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:
? Experience and knowledge in Packaging, Rigid Packagingstrongly preferred.? Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure andadapt to sudden changes in the work environment.? Excellent verbal, written, people and diplomacy skills required.? Ability to effectively present information to internal andexternal partners? Ability to persuade, negotiate and sell.? Strong problem solving skills with an ability to collaboratewith team members on best practices.? 25% travel required may be requested to perform other dutiesas assigned.? Territory sales or account management experience preferred.? Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM is preferred.? Demonstrate understanding of managing a customized sales cycleto provide solutions to clients
Minimum base salary for this position is $65,000 + commission,maximum base is $80,000 + commission. Base salary is based on GP$.Work Experience:
