Sales promotion manager for Doosan Bobcat EMEA and Doosan Bobcat Material handling EMEA.
This position is responsible for managing activities related to the Sales Promotion across the whole product portfolio. With the focus on sales, the Sales promotion manager is responsible for continuous development and implementation of sales programs and promotion tools. This role will manage, develop and implement the sales promotion policy, programs and initiatives to maximize the profits of the organization´s sales. The Sales promotion manager will research, evaluate and recommend enhancements to market positioning of the organization´s products and services. The Sales promotion manager will also provide input strategic decisions that impact the functional area of responsibility and forecasts the promotional, subsidy and discount spend. The position will define and monitor the right KPI´s to support consistent sales growth, customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Role & Responsibility
Regional Leadership
• Provide excellent reporting and support to the Senior Manager – CST and Business Intelligence.
Optimization of sales promotions
• Confirm sales promotions can impact strategic objectives
• Formulate promotional concepts into an executable program
• Communicate, administer and support promotions to ensure strategic execution
• Lead the analysis and verification that programs achieved the expected results
Process Improvement
• Drive further development of tools to define the right level of commercial support with focus on model / region.
• Incorporate the business’ strategic direction, goals, objectives, and key measurement systems to ensure the business goals are met.
• Research and understand emerging trends in the business landscape.
• Work with the cross-functional business owners to document and gain agreement for the new commercial strategy.
• Facilitate the development of improvement proposals through measurement and analysis of current activities.
Business Intelligence
• Identify opportunities at the market, define the right promotion strategy, apply the strategy and follow up on that.
• Cooperate on preparation of Long range plan to define the right commercial strategy.
Communication
• Effectively communicate across all levels, global, regional and functional departments.
Job Requirement
• Education: Bachelor degree required, Masters degree preferred in Business related field (business, economics, mathematics, finance)
• Experience: 7>10 years
• Travel: <10%
• Proficiency in time series forecasting methods or software
• Prior experience required in micro- and macroeconomic research to evaluate market trends
• Ability to present complex information clearly to executives
• Demonstrated ability to drive change
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Powerpoint and Power Bi
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to persuade executive team
• High competency Strategic Thinking, and Execution
• Proven ability to challenge status quo
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with very short timelines/deadlines
