About the position:
The Sales Operations Specialist will be responsible for supporting the fields sales team with quoting and various daily tasks as well as enforcing pre-defined sales order policies. The successful candidate must be able to work directly with Field and Channel Sales, Finance, and partners to ensure proper approvals and order structures are maintained. They will be passionate about their work, self-motivated, detail-oriented and have excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Be the key interface for day-to-day activity between Sales Operations, Field Sales, and Finance. Review sales orders for completeness and accuracy, and ensure all orders are validated according to internal operations guidelines and booking policies. Act as subject matter expert to advise Sales on global best practices and guidelines for deal structure, booking, and order acceptance policies. Assist the sales organization with complex quoting and co-terming, creation of renewals, reporting requests, and other help desk related questions. Work closely with multiple teams in Sales, Legal, and Finance to resolve any order or booking issues and to develop operational best practices. Partner with our internal Salesforce team in order to translate business requirements between Sales and Finance teams. Perform ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
3+ years previous experience in Sales Operations within a fast-growing technology company. Experience with how to review purchase orders, sales contracts, and all related documents is preferred. Salesforce and Salesforce CPQ experience is required. Experience with SAAS/subscription-based models is preferred. Highly organized with excellent attention to detail. Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Self-starter: Able to handle multiple projects at a time, highly proactive and able to follow through. Experience with IPO readiness and public company compliance. Works well in a team environment, able to collaborate and share ideas easily.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
