About Sales Operations Specialist

  Zendesk is looking for a driven and Associate Sales Operations Analyst to join our high-performing Go-to-Market (GTM) team! At Zendesk, you will have a major impact on the growth and direction of the North America Enterprise, Mid-Market, and Commercial business. You must have a growth mindset, love to collaborate with high caliber teammates, and be passionate about driving positive change.

  As a key member of the GTM Operations team, your mission will be to work with Sales Operations leadership to accelerate sales cycles and deal closure by manipulating large data sets that produce insights into sales performance. Sound exciting? We'd love to talk!

  Responsibilities:

  Become the team expert on Zendesk data fields and sources to support Sales and Sales Operations leadership on where to focus time and resources.Document and maintain a report & dashboard repositories used internally by Sales Operations and the Sales organization.Provide visibility and performance tracking (health of business reviews, sales efficiency/productivity metrics, quarterly business review data cubes, etc) on a regular cadence to Sales Operations leadership.Assist Sales Operations in annual GTM planning (territory carve, quota setting), building and maintaining the data infrastructure necessary for Sales planning purposes.Contribute to special projects, using your analytical and presentation skills to use data to inform decisions impacting the Sales and Sales Operations teams.Own administrative data related tasks, working with Global Sales Operations and IT teams to automate as many as possible.

  Requirements:

  Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Data Science2+ years coding experience querying and scoping data using SQL (BigQuery preferred)2+ years using technical business tools: Excel/Gsheets (pivot tables, advanced formulas such as index/match, charts/graphs)1+ years using Business Intelligence tools (Looker, Tableau preferred)Organized and excellent at time management and prioritization.Effective, clear, and concise verbal and written communication skills.A penchant for customer service, patience, and resourcefulness.Prioritizes self-improvement and professional development.

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Strong knowledge in the following fields: machine learning, data visualization, statistical modeling, data mining, and information retrievalCertified in Business Intelligence tools such as Google Looker, Tableau, or similar1-2 years of strategy & operations experience in Operations, Finance, Data Science, or Analytics functions
