As a Sales Operations Analyst on the Global Sales Operations team at Zendesk, you will work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance and IT partners across the globe to streamline our Lead-To-Cash Flow. Zendesk is looking for a results oriented individual to analyze, scope and partner in solutioning some of our Sales users critical system and process requests.
You will be working with a diverse group of individuals focused on delivering high-impact projects that scale.
The ideal candidate must have a strong analytical mindset, be data-driven, and not afraid to take initiatives to solve for gaps, and easily adaptable in a fast-paced environment. Software-as-a-service or other subscription based work experience will be beneficial.
Responsibilities:
Lead sales system related initiatives and projects (Salesforce integrated tools)Support, maintain, and continuously improve adoption of sales tech stackMonitor data and performance of sales and marketing activities to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities; resolve data quality issues if necessaryBuild, organize and distribute dashboards across functional teamsIdentify opportunities to improve business processes; generate business requirements; document and work with different departments to define and deliver process improvements.Work with global operations teams in AMER, EMEA, LATAM, and APAC to drive adoption of new business and system processes.Ad-hoc analysis and reporting to help set baseline metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for projectsDemonstrate a keen interest in continuous learning and proficiency in our diverse tech stack; capable of understanding the functionality and basics of tool use and administration
Required:
2-3 years of Sales Operations experience or a strong understanding of sales processesMust be comfortable using Salesforce or similar SaaS systemExperience with Excel/Gsheets (Formulas and pivot tables a must, macros a plus)Ability to adapt and ask the right questions when put in an unfamiliar settingEffective communication skills and experience working with multiple cross-functional partnersAbility to identify existing process gaps and present solutions on how to resolve said gapsPositive can-do attitude and growth mindset; comfortable and flexible working in a fast-paced environment with a strong willingness to learn
Preferred:
Experience with SQL and/or a strong willingness to learnFamiliarity with a business intelligence tool and data visualizationExperience with vendor management and tool procurement processes
