Amazon Web Services (AWS) internships are full-time (40 hours/week) for 12 consecutive weeks during summer. By applying to this position, your application will be considered for all locations we hire for in the United States.
Do you want to be part of a worldwide team focused on improving AWS’ Public Sector performance? As a sales operations analyst intern, your responsibilities will include tactically engaging with internal stakeholders to support business planning and forecasting activities, assisting in high level business operations and data analysis tasks and projects, and learn how the sales operations business works. Interest or experience in workforce management or workforce planning is desired. This intern will also have the ability to develop their skills in reporting and visualization (dashboards). This is your opportunity to interact with mentors and be part of a team supporting the AWS Public Sector organization.

Key job responsibilities
• Work regularly with Excel and data visualization tools such as Tableau to extract, analyze and report on data
• Create reports to support business stakeholders
• Analyze data, identify defects and resolve

Basic Qualifications
• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with a graduation conferral date between December 2024 and September 2025
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelors in finance, business economics, data analytics, business, project management, or similar field
• Intermediate Excel skills demonstrated through relevant coursework or majors, pursuing an Excel certification, or similar
• Good Communicator: You are comfortable talking with all different kinds of people, interests, and walks of life. You write clearly, listen well, and use the right tone for the audience.
• Highly organized, self-starter: You actively look for opportunities to improve and add value to your team and customers.
