ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a business development executive to support the Market leader in driving new business with our clients in Japan working towards Quarterly sales targets, driving revenue pipeline, developing long-term strategic partnerships and closing sales.
The role is within our Asia Agency & Advertiser Audience Measurement team.
This sales group focuses on business development with our Media agency partners, including creative agencies and developing our Advertiser relationships and partnerships.
The successful candidate will be part of the Advertiser and Agency team responsible for their own Sales targets for both Agencies and Advertisers reporting to the vertical leader for Advertisers & Agencies, Audience Measurement Japan.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive sales results by championing a client-first sales mindset and a disciplined sales process
Drive and champion a sales mindset within the organization focused on weekly progression to an individual quarterly and annual sales target.
Building mid-and long-term business development strategy plans, with the local leader's support to drive sales success
To build and maintain strong relationships with clients. Furthermore, to become a client’s business partner, aggressively, suggest solutions which fulfill the client’s needs.
Drive Sales Processes/ Cadence
Ongoing pipeline management/ sales forecasts
Internal (Finance/ Region/ Global) Stakeholder management
Achieve solution-based targets, according to solutions
QUALIFICATION & SKILLS
Strong business development and client growth skills with a proven sales record.
5+ years of experience in solution sales and have high sales skills.
Prior experience working with large advertisers in Japan with some industry contacts at both Agencies and Advertisers.
Strong and proven understanding of the media industry.
High communication skills
High business English skills (TOEIC750+) - Written and Verbal
Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset to work well with others;
Well-organized with the ability to plan and prioritize;
Meticulous with strong attention to detail;
Use of established CRM tools - Salesforce, Linkedin Sales Navigator and SalesLoft.
Google Suite Applications(Preferable) – GMail, Google Doc, Google Slides, etc.
Knowledge and understanding of advertising and marketing and the media industry.
Basic knowledge and understanding of marketing research.
Experience at ad networks or ad-tech firms like DSP, TV or related fields.
A network in marketing, digital or media industries.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS / MEASURES
Performance will be measured primarily on the delivery of Revenue on Hand versus personal
Quarterly Sales Targets.
The approach to building a Revenue pipeline and conversion plan will also be assessed.
Ability to support and help drive the business with the Advertiser and Agency Leader in Japan
