  Position Overview/Summary

  The Sales Director, NationalReference Laboratories (NRL) is responsible for growing the overall SiemensHealthineers portfolio within key National Reference Laboratories in NorthAmerica. The priorities of the Director, NRLis to gain an understanding of the customer’s strategic goals for the benefitof developing and selling Siemens’ solutions to align with those goals and enhanceour business partnership. Knowledge ofthe healthcare macro environment, NRL operations and purchasing processes, automationand operational efficiency and building scientific collaborations are importantfor this position.

  Role is remote and ideally located with close proximity toa major airport.

  The Sales Director, NRL reports to the Vice President, NationalReference Labs.

  Own end-to-end deal process forlarge, complex deals:

  Build strong relationships withhigh-level executives and key clinical and procurement customer decision makers;develop customer coaches

  Ensure in-depth understanding ofcustomer needs and sufficient messaging of Siemens’ value propositionacross the entire Laboratory Diagnostics and Point-of-Care portfolio –including Automation and Informatic solutions

  Develop practical high-qualitystrategic plans to effectively capture opportunities

  Develop tactical action plans toexecute strategies

  Achieve and grow total revenueand market position consistent with Company goals

  Negotiate and implement Master Contracts andProduct Line Agreements

  Engage with and drivecollaboration among Laboratory Diagnostics and Point of Care Technical andService teams to monitor product performance and ensure customer needs aremet

  Interface with marketing toquantify needs and to provide intelligence to management on competitiveproducts and company product enhancements

  Effectively prioritize andmanage time to allocate efforts across all key initiatives

  Provide regular updates onprogress to management; proactively flag instances in which higher levelmanagement is required to support deal process

  Keep abreast of new products inthe market and of current and future Company products

  As necessary, performs otherduties as required

  Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

  Minimum 10+ years of experienceworking in the Laboratory Diagnostics Industry with documented success asa high performer

  Minimum 3+ years of experience working with one of the top three largestreference laboratories in the U.S.

  Proven track record ofleadership and collaboration (both internally and externally) to achievebusiness results in a large matrix organization

  Demonstrated expertise instrategic thinking and implementation

  Strong interpersonal skills,ability to quickly build relationships and gain trust from customers

  Good presentation skills andengaging personality

  Strong teamwork skills, abilityto effectively manage and coach cross-functional teams to ensure successin opportunity execution

  Strong processorientation, organizational and time management skills

  Ability to develop andmanage to budget and/or business plans is vital

  Strong focus on customerexperience and satisfaction

  Ability to troubleshoot andresolve very complex problems

  Minimum BS/BA degree

  Ability to travel up to 50%

  The pay range for this position is $140,000-$180,000annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-relatedknowledge, skills, and experience. The annual incentive target is $70,000.
