  Reference #: R00207289Ecolab is seeking highly motivated applicants to join the Sales Development Program starting as a Sales Intern for the Institutional division. The Institutional division is the largest business within Ecolab and addresses our customers' cleaning and sanitation needs in the foodservice and hospitality industries, as well as in laundry, long-term care, education, retail, and government facilities.

  What You Will Do:Work with your district team to understand customers' operational challenges by consulting their cleaning and sanitization needs, and devising appropriate solutionsGain exposure to the hospitality industry including hotels, restaurants, hospitals, schools, and dining facilities through valuable interactions with our customersLearn how to successfully prospect to find new leads, set-up new accounts, and generate new businessSpend time in job shadows with field sales associates to build key relationships and grow your knowledgeWork closely with the Field Sales team to improve your sales, presentation, and professional communication skills

  Position Details:Nationwide metro-market opportunities available

  Minimum Qualifications:Currently in pursuit of a Bachelor's degree with anticipated graduation date of December 2024 or May 2025Position requires a current and valid Driver's License with an acceptable motor vehicle record, and access to a personal vehicleNo immigration sponsorship offered for this role

  Preferred Qualifications:Pursuing a Sales, Marketing, Hospitality Management, Communications, Business Management degree and/or certificatePrevious sales and/or customer service experienceHospitality or foodservice industry experienceStrong communication, interpersonal and organizational skillsLong-term interest in a sales or sales leadership career

  Annual or Hourly Compensation Range:$22 / hour. This position pays an hourly rate and is eligible for overtime.

  Annual or Hourly Compensation Range is based on full-time 40 hours per week. Ecolab in good faith anticipates it will pay within the posted range. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining the compensation for a potential new employee such as education, training, experience, work location, travel (if required), etc.
