Job Description
The Sales Coordinator position supports the development of company sales, proposals, and marketing programs. Responsible for coordinating all Sales related correspondence with the internal team. Works with customers to service their needs, create solutions and provide aid with the sales and quoting process. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Works closely with program managers, pricing analysts and the sales team. Provides support to customers over the phone and email as necessary. Challenged to continually drive and improve customer service to strengthen relationships with existing and new customers.
Key Responsibilities
Actively manage customers in ways that enable higher levels of customer service/satisfaction: improve engagement, reduce quote lead time, reduce PO cycle time, and better understand customer needs and opportunities.
Contact will be made through, but not limited to, phone calls, email, mailings, and faxes to communicate opportunities to existing and potential new customers.
Create quotations by referring to product literature, price lists and interactions with Program Management, Finance and Contracts.
Maintain CRM records of all inquiries and request. Maintain reports of historical records.
Plans and oversees execution of promotional activities including print, electronic media, and trade shows.
Confers with department supervisors or leads to determine status of assigned projects and routinely communicates status to customers.
Prepare requests for information and develops quote documentation.
Department point of contact for input and updates into the CRM.
Assists Program Management in determining new accounts, key players and look to generate interest.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Marketing Communications preferred. 2-5 years of directly related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present and communicate information, and respond to questions from managers, plant personnel and customers. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
Individual should have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (includes Word, PowerPoint, Excel and MS Project OneNote), ERP/MRP Software and Salesforce.

Please note the salary range posted below is a general guideline for this job level and location. When extending an offer, a variety of factors are considered such as responsibilities of the position, relevant education and experience, certifications, knowledge and skills.
Salary Range:
$49,830.00 - $83,270.00
