Job Summary
The Small Group Account/Sales Executive is responsible for selling Point32Health to new employer groups as well as servicing the account and broker, retaining the account and membership, and increasing penetration in an established account. The Small Group Account/Sales Executive is the primary link between the employer and Point32Health and is expected to provide most appropriate service, products, and premiums to meet customer needs for the assigned book of business.
Key Responsibilities/Duties – what you will be doing
Responsible for both selling and renewing small group business.
Serves as primary contact between account, broker and Point32Health for information including products, benefits, and the value and quality of Point32Health.
Acts as consultant on plan design and works with internal service areas such as Account Services to provide customer service solutions.
Develops and implements an overall strategic sales plan to increase membership quota levels.
Responsible for RFPs, reports, membership projections; updates sales data systems; gathers competitive information.
Maintains current and thorough knowledge of Point32Health products, benefits, systems, health care industry, legislation etc. through training and sales software.
Attends health fairs and other client meetings and coordinates site visits.
Other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications – what you need to perform the job
Education, Certification and Licensure
Bachelor’s degree preferredExperience (minimum years required) :
Must have 3 years of sales experience as well as experience in a sales or customer service environment.Skill Requirements
Demonstrated ability to work with Brokers and Clients.
Must have current State Producers License for health and life insurance in applicable states, as needed.
Requires knowledge of sales automation software.
Problem solving with internal and external customers.
Demonstrates analytical, communication, telephone, and PC skills.
Maintain a positive, professional business image. (CRM, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
Quality control and attention to detail. Interpersonal skills, conflict management and customer service.
Resilient, collaborative, flexible, innovative.
Working Conditions and Additional Requirements (include special requirements, e.g., lifting, travel) :
Must be able to work under normal office conditions and work from home as required.
Work may require regular in-state and out-of-state travel.
Work may require simultaneous use of a telephone/headset and PC/keyboard and sitting for extended durations.
May be required to work additional hours beyond standard work schedule.

The annual base salary range provided for this position represents a broad range of salaries for this role and similar roles across the organization. The actual salary for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope and complexity of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; equity with internal colleagues; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive total rewards program, colleagues are also eligible for variable pay. Eligibility for any bonus, commission, benefits, or any other form of compensation and benefits remains in the Company's sole discretion and may be modified at the Company’s sole discretion, consistent with the law.
